'Order list' is located on the left side of the Operator app interface. It can be hidden by clicking on the collapse/expand icon.
All orders are split into two categories - Instant and Preorders.
One of the routine tasks an operator has to process daily is managing preorders.
Operators need to sort preorders in the Operator app by various parameters.
Every business model requires specific patterns for preorder sorting and filtering. Efficient sorting and filtering helps operators:
-to process them more effectively
-to optimise resources
-to secure a positive customer experience
There are different user cases for which an operator might need specific preorder sorting and filtering. Among others are:
to check upcoming preorders with the closest pick-up time to make sure a driver is assigned to them.
to track preorders, pending in auto-search for too long and assign them, which helps minimise customer cancellation
to process preorders as per the “first in, first out” flow. This sorting ensures that preorders that were created earlier do not pend unassigned.
to process preorders as per the “last in, first out ” flow. This sorting allows to focus on recently created orders and track the pick-up date/time situation.
When a user clicks the “Sort” button, the Operator App shows a drop-down list with the following sorting options:
Long auto-search first - sorts preorders by creation date showing those that have been in auto-search longest at the top of the list.
After these, the sorting will follow the Recent orders first rule.
Starting soon first - sorts preorders pick-up time and date, displaying the ones with the earliest pick-up at the top of the list.
This includes orders with missed pick-up times (before the current time) that are not yet canceled (status "Assigned (Not started)"). After that, pre-orders are listed in ascending order of pick-up time, from the nearest to the furthest in the future. Started, arrived, on trip, confirming cost, payment, finished, canceled, expired pre-orders are placed at the end of the list.
Recent orders first - sorts preorders by creation date from recent to oldest, most recently created ones are at the top of the list.
Oldest orders first - sorts preorders by creation date, from oldest to recent (the ones created the earliest are at the top of the list).
An operator can select one sorting option at a time. All preorders are sorted depending on the sorting option and the selected option is visualised in the Operator app.

The Operator App remembers the selected sorting option for each Operator.
The default sorting option for preorders is always “Recent orders first”.
1. The “By status” filter allows an operator to filter preorders, selecting one or any combination of the below statuses:
Assigned - a driver is assigned
Unassigned - searching for driver
Starting soon - starting in 30 minutes or less
On trip - a driver has started the trip from A to B
Cancelled - cancelled regardless of the order source
Finished - finished paid and finished unpaid
Unpaid - finished unpaid
All mine - created by a specific operator
Long-distance - longer than 15 km or 1 h

The filter will put out a list of preorders in preselected statuses.

2. The “By date” filter allows an operator to filter preorders by a certain date.
By default, the Operator App shows preorders for all dates.
Tap on “All dates” to open the calendar and select the date for which you want to review preorders.
If there are no preorders for a specific date, the calendar shows this day as unavailable for selection (disabled).

“By date” filter logic:
1. The “By date” filter displays preorders for the selected date (the date a preorder is requested for = pick-up date)
2. By date” filter sorts preorders as per the selected “sorting mode”:
Long auto-search first
Starting soon first
Recent orders first
Oldest orders first
IMPORTANT
If an operator selects the date from the “All dates” calendar and adds any other filter(s) the Operator App provides the preorder list as per the combination of all filter requirements.

When an operator clicks the “Clear filters” button, the preorders are shown for all dates and in all statuses. The filters are reset to default values.
