There are multiple reasons a company might need to show a specific service type as first in line of other services in their branded Customer app.
Among others are:
- temporarily move up front the new service for advertising purposes to increase user awareness
- highlight the actual service discount to attract more customers
- etc.
One can select 1 service type for each network company in their brand that will always appear first in Customer app. To do that access your Services > hover over to “Current pinned service type. Not specified. Change > Select pinned service type from the drop down list of available services and press SAVE

grouped into a domain
arranged as per the following domain order
Ride
Courier
Expert
Technician
(first, all - Ride domain services, then all Courier domain services, etc.)
sorted inside each domain based on minimum cost value: from the cheapest services to the more expensive ones
In case there are several network companies within one brand working in the same operational area and both companies have a “pinned” service type, the pinned services are ordered based on which domain they belong to. (Ride - first, Courier - second, Expert - third, Technician - fourth.
For example, there are 2 network companies in one brand. In one company Airport service type is pinned (domain = ride), in the second company Bike courier is pinned (domain = courier)
As ride domain service types come first, Airport shows as a first pinned service in the app, while Bike courier comes second.

Should both companies in the network have the same service type pinned, just one service will appear in Customer app with a drop-down list of services available in both companies.

One may give a pinned service type a custom name to highlight the new service, promotion service discount, etc. Service type custom name is displayed on condition that the company has only one service on this service. In case there are several services within one service type the default name is displayed.

We hope that pinning your service types will help to enhance your customer app user experience!
