Phone number and email are unique customer profile identifiers in our platform. Thus, one has to use a unique phone number and email to register a customer's profile. This is in full compliance with client data confidentiality.
If a customer wants to update their profile email or phone number this can be done from their account > ”Profile” section.
A customer can only use a phone number and/or email that are not linked to any other customer profiles.
When a customer enters a value in either email or phone number field in customer app profile, we check if there is any active registered account with such credentials (email/phone number).
If there is an account linked to the value in the phone number/email field we return an error 'Invalid value' to the user, disallowing to merge accounts.
Otherwise, we allow users to update the value.
