Tipping a driver is automated with Onde platform! A customer can add tips to trip cost directly from their app.

Tip option is activated in service type settings.

Proceed to tab “Service type” of My Hub, access any service type, choose “Payment methods”, enable “Allow customer to tip” and press “Save”.


Both “Fixed cost” and “Allow customer to tip” options can not be set for the service. Showing "Fixed cost" before the trip and a different sum at the end due to tip addition would be bad UX.

Tip range allowance is from 5 to 30% of trip cost.

A customer may set standard tip % for this or that service directly from his app once the order is accepted by a driver. 

This means that every time this service is booked the tip will be added to trip total automatically at the end of the ride. Standard tip can be amended by changing the tip % or cancelled by disabling it from the app during an order.

A customer may "Add tips" for a ride at any stage of the trip from the moment the order has been accepted by a driver until the cost confirmation stage at the end of the trip.

A customer may review every trip detail and cost breakdown in the tab “My bookings” of his customer app as well as Trip summary sent to client email.
